1. GET STUNG! You will often stumble on a nest the hard way. No body likes to get stung. Usually, the nest is a considerable size before we even notice them on our property.

2. WASTE MONEY ON PESTICIDES! Over the counter pesticides are expensive and dangerous. There are several ways to waste your money. Many people miss the nest because they remain far away to avoid getting stung. Often people miss the nest from bad aim, wind, or just not enough pressure in the can to reach the pests. Everything else gets drenched with toxins except the nest.

3. USE UP THE ENTIRE CAN! Empty the contents of the can onto the nest, drenching it, the tree or shrub, hurting not only the yellow jackets and hornets but also even beneficial insects. Not only will you kill the nest but you will damage all plants that the insecticides come in contact with. Bee sprays don't just kill bees, yellow jackets and hornets. They kill any and every insect that comes into contact with it.

4. RELEASE THE POISON INTO THE ENVIRONMENT! Now they can work their way in to water and food systems. Not only will you kill the yellow jackets and hornets but you can make many animals very sick if they come into contact with the poisons. Birds often will get ill because they eat the infected insects. Cats who eat the birds will ingest the poisons. The cycle is endless.

5. ABSORB TOXIC CHEMICALS INTO YOUR BODY! You can contaminate your body through your eyes, skin and lungs. Our bodies can only take so much of these chemicals. DDT was finally outlawed but it is too late. Scientist say that traces of DDT can be found in every human being on the face of the earth. We don't even know the full impact of our "modern" poisons on the environment and us.

6. USE UP TWO CANS! If the nest is concealed in your house, spray two cans worth. It doesn't matter, because you won't reach the nest anyway. Concealed nests are often far into the ground or house so many times spraying will do little good. The best you can do is try your luck with products such as Sevin but this stuff is a poison as well. This powder supposedly is tracked back into the nest and begins to kill them. A strong nest, however, will hardly be effected because they have literally thousands of workers constantly cleaning the nest. I've seen concealed nests that people have sprayed recover just fine.

7. PAY A PROFESSIONAL EXTERMINATOR LOTS OF MONEY. A commercial exterminator will fill your yard, house and environment with even more potent poisons. These insecticides require a special license to use. I have chosen not to get my applicator licenses because I do not want to get into the extermination of yellow jackets and hornets through poisons. Exterminators need a special license because the chemicals they are dealing with cannot be bought over the counter. They are trained how to apply the poisons in such a way to effect the environment as little as possible. I know someone personally who worked for a major extermination company. They say they are careful but really most of the "applicators" don't really care. Try as they may, poison is poison and it will impact you and the environment. They say they are "safe" but don't believe them. They have a business and want to sell their product. I personally called one exterminator business and was quoted an outrageous price for a relatively simple problem. THE SOLUTION

1. CONTACT US FOR FREE REMOVAL! I will come and vacuum out those stinging pests. This will remove most of the adult workers. Often times the nest will die for lack of workers. If the nest recovers, I will come back and finish the job.

2. LET YOUR YELLOWJACKETS AND HORNETS BE USED TO HELP PEOPLE! These yellow jackets and hornets will be used to help people who are sting allergic through a series of shots that will desensitize them to the severity of the venom.

3. ORGANIC COLLECTION! I will not use any pesticides. I will instruct people on what to use and how to apply some if they choose to after I leave.

4. TELL A FRIEND! Telling as many people as possible can help reduce the amount of toxins that are put in the environment. Every year tons of poisons, toxins, chemicals, and pesticides are polluting the environment. Every person you tell may stop more pollutants being put into our world.
